(Yicai Global) June 12 -- After two days of gains, China's stock markets have retreated slightly.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.57 percent lower at 2,909 points for lunch, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.72 percent lower at 8,972. The ChiNext closed 0.7 percent lower at 1,477. 

The Shanghai Composite Index open down 0.29 percent at 2,917, while the Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.32 percent lower at 9,009. The ChiNext started 0.43 percent lower at 1,481.
