(Yicai Global) May 7 -- Chinese stock markets opened mixed after yesterday's rise, and tech shares were the best performing stocks.

The Shanghai Composite Index set out 0.06 percent down at 2,876.47, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.15 percent to 10,899.92. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, climbed 0.82 percent to 2,052.39.

Tech shares opened up more than 1 percent.
