(Yicai Global) March 16 -- China's unemployment rate moved up to 6.2 percent in February, according to data published by the National Bureau of Statistics today. Until January, the rate had hovered between 5 percent and 5.3 percent for more than a year.
Some 1.08 million jobs were created in urban areas over the first two months of this year, the NBS said. The average weekly workload of employees across the country was 40.2 hours in February, down by 6.5 hours from January.
