(Yicai Global) Nov. 22 -- Huangshan Tourism Development, the operator of UNESCO World Heritage site Yellow Mountain in Anhui province, has come up with a clever plan to find new investors.

Huangshan Tourism launched a campaign under which those investors who held at least one hundred stocks of the firm on Nov. 16, can visit its sightseeing destinations such as Huangshan Scenic Area, Huashan Mysterious Grottoes, and Taiping Lake, for free, the travel company said in a statement on Nov. 7. "As long as you have one eligible share of our company, you can enjoy the benefits," it said.

The firm's share price has risen modestly since the announcement to close at CNY10.14 (USD1.5) today. A ticket to the Huangshan hiking destination costs CNY190 (USD27) during the peak season starting in January.

Huangshan Tourism's share has risen 6.5 percent by the close of trading on Nov. 16, which is higher than that of the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index, the company said.

Lijiang YuLong Tourism in southwestern Yunnan province also offered a stock incentive to celebrate its 10th anniversary since going public, and provided shareholders with special tours to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and discounts on goods.

Other Chinese firms such as Nangfang Black Sesame, food firm Quantum Hi-tech, medical company Humanwell Hi-Tech, and Qinghai Huzhu Barley Wine have all rewarded their shareholders by giving them some of their products.
