(Yicai Global) April 14 -- Stock markets on China's mainland opened higher this morning, led by software and electronic stocks.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.42 percent higher at 2,794.80, while the Shenzhen Component Index was up 0.76 percent at 10,300.96. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, started the day 0.74 percent stronger at 1,937.29.
