(Yicai Global) Oct. 11 -- Stock markets on the Chinese mainland opened higher this morning as investors continued the buying spree that buoyed yesterday's market.
 

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.24 percent up at 2,954.82, while the Shenzhen Component Index started 0.20 percent higher at 9,656.98. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, began the day 0.06 percent stronger at 1,667.95.
