(Yicai Global) July 25 -- China's mainland stock markets finished the day higher, and intellectual property-related shares were among the top gainers.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,937.36, up 0.5 percent. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.9 percent higher to 9,344.82. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, climbed 0.8 percent to 1,566.08.
