(Yicai Global) Dec. 4 -- The head of Chinese video platform Youku Tudou is leaving his role due to an ongoing investigation related to corruption.
Yang Weidong has left the company because he is under an anti-graft investigation, online news outlet Sina.Com reported today. The report did not include other details about the alleged crime.
The Beijing-based company has already selected a successor to Yang. Fan Luyuan, who also chair Alibaba Group Holding's entertainment unit Ali Pictures, will take Yang's position.
Youku delisted from NYSE once Alibaba bought the company in April 2016.
