(Yicai Global) Sept. 26 -- Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. (COMAC) received a new order yesterday for the ARJ21-700, its proprietary regional jet, increasing the total order volume for the model to 433.

The aerospace manufacturer penned a purchase framework agreement yesterday with Agricultural Bank of China Financial Leasing Co., a subsidiary of state-run Agricultural Bank of China [HK:1288], to supply 20 ARJ21-700 jets to the latter.

The leasing firm placed another order for 30 C919 airliners with COMAC six days ago.

ARJ21 is the latest twin-engine regional jet COMAC produces. It went into commercial operation in June last year. The C919 is the first twinjet airliner the company independently developed. It completed its maiden flight May 5.
