(Yicai Global) Nov. 12 -- China’s postal and express delivery companies set a new single-day record yesterday, which was Double 11, the world’s biggest online shopping event.

They handled a total of 675 million parcels, a 26.2 percent gain on a year earlier, according to data from the State Post Bureau. For the period Nov. 1 to yesterday, the figure tallied nearly 4 billion.
