(Yicai Global) Dec. 18 -- Japan's exports to China have posted strong growth and increased for the 12th consecutive month in November.

Japan's exports to China increased 25.1 percent annually to a record high of JPY1.38 trillion (USD12.25 billion) last month driven by shipments of liquid-crystal display equipment.

Japanese exports rose 16.2 percent annually to JPY6.92 trillion last month, Japan's Ministry of Finance said today. That increase outpaced the 14 percent climb recorded in October.

Japan's exports to Asia rose 20.4 percent to JPY3.89 trillion last month, setting a record.

The volume of exports from the island nation rose 5.5 percent annually in November in the 10th straight month of growth.

The value of imports went up 17.2 percent to USD6.81 trillion last month, and the trade surplus reached JPY113.4 billion after rising for the sixth consecutive month.
