(Yicai Global) Oct. 20 -- Jiangxi Huawu Brake Co.[SHE:300095] has proposed building a wind farm in Fengcheng in East China's Jiangxi province and the local branch of China's macroeconomic planning agency the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has approved the project, the wind power braking system manufacturer announced today. 

The installed capacity of the plant is 50 megawatts (MW), and the feed into the grid is estimated to be 100,309.02 MW-hour per year, with a projected investment of USD65 million (CNY430 million), exclusive of the costs of transmission works, per the document the commission issued.

Huawu Brake will apply for planning permission and a ground lease based on the approval document, and start wind farm construction as soon as possible. The company became a supplier of wind turbine components for Germany's Siemens AG [XETRA:SIE] in 2014, public information shows.
