(Yicai Global) Jan. 10 -- Jinfa Labi Maternity & Baby Articles has struck an exclusive deal with O8 Israel to bring the Middle Eastern manufacturer's mother and baby goods to China.

The pair penned an agreement on Jan. 7, Guangdong province-based Jinfa Labi said in a statement yesterday, without disclosing details on how much it cost. The deal allows the Chinese firm to make, sell and price O8 Israel products in China, import finished goods or raw materials from the licensor and use its patents and branding.

O8 Israel has several invention patents for its unique mother and child care products that use algae from the Dead Sea, the statement added, saying these goods will complement Jinfa Labi's own range and help it become a more influential brand. The deal will also elevate the licensee's own abilities in science and technology, the firm added.

The two companies also plan to set up a joint venture to sell across China and possibly other undeveloped markets around the world, according to the statement.
