Qing Pan, Member of the Board of Management of JLR, President and CEO of JLR in China, stated, “The CIIE is an open platform that fosters shared growth between China and the world, and an accelerator of value creation for international enterprises in China. Over the past eight years, we have not only witnessed the opportunities brought by openness and collaboration, contributing over 20% to UK-China trade volume, but also strengthened our ‘In China, More China’ localisation strategy through continuous innovation in products, technologies, and experiences. Going forward, JLR will continue to deliver Modern Luxury experiences to Chinese consumers while serving as a bridge for economic and cultural exchange between the UK and China.”

British Icons Meet Modern Innovation, Expanding the Boundaries of Modern Luxury

In the Automotive and Smart Mobility Zone (Hall 2.1), JLR showcases an inspiring blend of heritage and innovation, featuring milestone models that embody the essence of British craftsmanship and the future of mobility — alongside the immersive Range Rover SV Bespoke Experience Zone, where Modern Luxury is reimagined through the lens of Sino-British cultural fusion.

Equipped with the world’s first 6D Dynamics Suspension and OCTA mode, the model redefines all-terrain capability, comfort, and handling dynamics. Continuing Defender’s legacy of engineering excellence, the OCTA will also serve as a prototype race car competing in the 2026 Dakar Rally.

1994 Bespoke Range Rover built for Her Majesty the Queen

Two historically significant Range Rover Royal Vehicles made their first joint appearance at CIIE. The 1974 State I Royal Review Car inaugurated the Range Rover’s half-century tradition as the British royal ceremonial vehicle, accompanying generations of the royal family at national celebrations. The 1994 bespoke Range Rover built for Her Majesty the Queen reflects a timeless balance of craftsmanship and refinement, symbolising elegance across eras and serving as a unique cultural bridge between the UK and China.

This year also marks the 10th anniversary of Range Rover SV in China. To celebrate, JLR is showcasing not only the “pinnacle of pinnacles” Range Rover SV, but also introducing an interactive SV Bespoke Experience Zone, allowing visitors to customise their own Range Rover from more than 1.6 million combinations of colours, materials, and finishes — a truly immersive journey into the art of Modern Luxury, shaped by British inspiration and Chinese creativity.

Jaguar E-Type

The legendary Jaguar E-Type, hailed as “the most beautiful car in the world,” also shines in the International Automotive Culture Zone. Its flowing silhouette and biomimetic design philosophy have not only defined Jaguar’s aesthetic legacy for over six decades, but also illustrate the automobile’s evolution from mechanical innovation to cultural icon, echoing China’s national call to “cultivate automotive cultural heritage.”

Fifteen Years in China, Elevating the Modern Luxury Experience

As JLR celebrates its 15th anniversary in China, the nation stands not only as one of the world’s most dynamic luxury markets, but also as a key driver of global innovation. Guided by its “In China, For China” vision, JLR has continuously strengthened its local R&D capabilities, bespoke product offerings, and differentiated service systems to meet the diverse expectations of Chinese customers for Modern Luxury.

Under the House of Brands strategy, the distinctive characters of the Range Rover, Defender, Discovery, and Jaguar families have been further strengthened. In 2025, several new models — including the New Defender OCTA, Range Rover Sport SV, and Jaguar XFL 90th Anniversary Edition — were launched in China. Through experiential platforms such as “Range Rover House” and “Destination Defender,” each brand continues to reinforce its leading position within its segment. In the first three quarters of 2025, JLR topped China’s premium SUV sales in the RMB 700,000+ category, while Range Rover has led the RMB 1.5 million+ segment for three consecutive years.

JLR’s excellence in products and services has also earned widespread industry recognition. In 2025, JLR China achieved top rankings among premium brands across six major J.D. Power studies — including Sales and Service Satisfaction, Initial Quality, Appeal and other key metrics — marking its best results to date.

“Dream Store” Debuts at CIIE, Redefining the Boundaries of CSR Innovation

Alongside its pursuit of business excellence, JLR remains committed to sustainable development and social responsibility in China. Since 2014, in partnership with the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, JLR has established the JLR China Children & Youth Dream Fund — the first CSR fund in China’s automotive sector dedicated to youth development. Over the past eleven years, the fund has focused on education, social care, and Sino-British cultural exchange, investing more than RMB 100 million and benefiting over 700,000 young people nationwide.

Dream Store

This year marks the first appearance of the Dream Store at CIIE — JLR’s creative charity market that engages owners, partners, and the public alike. Through charity sales and creative collaboration, the Dream Store broadens community participation, fostering new models of public engagement and enhancing Sino-British cultural exchange on an open, world-class stage

Looking ahead, JLR has officially confirmed its participation in the 9th CIIE. As both a witness and contributor to China’s progressive opening-up, the company will continue to leverage its deep local insights and global strength to deepen collaboration with Chinese partners in electrification, sustainability, and technological innovation. Together, JLR and its partners will continue to shape Modern Luxury experiences tailored for Chinese consumers and contribute to the high-quality, sustainable development of the automotive industry.
