Lenovo Led Global Computer Shipments in First Quarter After 6.9% Gain

(Yicai Global) April 17 -- Chinese tech giant Lenovo was the world's largest personal computer maker in the first quarter, with shipments rising 6.9 percent to 13.2 million despite a 4.6 percent industry-wide decline to 58.5 million, according to data from Gartner. Hewlett-Packard and Dell followed in second and third place.
