(Yicai Global) July 12 -- Chinese IT giant Lenovo Group's shares rose sharply today as the latest report by US-based global research firm Gartner shows its worldwide PC unit's deliveries grew almost 16 percent to nearly 16 million in the second quarter to keep it in first place and with the fastest annual growth among top vendors.

Its share [HK:0992] price rose 5.72 percent to HKD6.28 (USD80 cents) at 2.28 p.m.
