(Yicai Global) Nov. 20 - Affected by a slump in the European and US stock markets, trading opened lower in Shanghai and Shenzhen this morning.

The Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.71 percent to 2,682.29 points in the opening, while the Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,031.36 points, down 0.96 percent. The ChiNext Price Index was down 0.73 percent to 1,384.18 points.

The US stock market closed down last night, while the S&P 500 index fell 1.66 percent.The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 1.56 percent and the Nasdaq Composite Index closed down 3.03 percent.
