(Yicai Global) Aug. 25 -- Some investors opted to cash in their chips this morning after earlier rises, Chinese stock markets closed mixed in the morning after a higher opening in consequence.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.19 percent lower at 3,379.12 at lunch, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.16 percent to 13,688.23. The ChiNext, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, advanced 0.95 percent to 2,710.11.
