(Yicai Global) Oct. 15 -- Southeastern China's Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport has had a busy month last month as passenger, cargo, and flight traffic increased.
Passenger throughput rose by 13.4 percent from a year ago to 4.34 million person-times, according to data released by the operator called Shenzhen Airport.
The number of departures and arrivals rose by 6.6 percent from a previous year to 30,500. The volume of cargo climbed by 11.7 percent to 119,600 tons.
For the first nine months of this year, passenger throughput inched up by 7.5 percent from a year ago to 39.35 million person-times. Departures and arrivals rose by 3.7 percent to 274,600. The volume of cargo edged up by 3.3 percent to 924,700 tons.
Shenzhen Airport's [SHE: 000089] share price rose 0.57 percent to CNY10.61 (USD1.50) this afternoon.
