(Yicai Global) Dec. 10 -- Shenzhen’s ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises, became the only major mainland stock index attracting visible buying interest today.

The ChiNext Price Index was at 2,718.55, up 0.77 percent by the closing bell. Meanwhile, its Shanghai counterpart, the Star Market Board 50 Index, fell 0.36 percent to 1,360.18.

The mainland's two broad market indexes ended nearly unchanged. The Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.04 percent at 3,373.28. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.11 percent to 13,731.34.
