(Yicai Global) April 30 -- China Petroleum & Chemical, one of China's two energy giants, managed to increase its revenue over the first quarter but suffered a dent in profit.

Net profit slid almost 20  percent to CNY15.5 billion (USD2.3 billion) over the first three months under  international financial reporting standards, the firm, which compiles  reports using both Chinese and international standards, said today.  Total revenue jumped 15.5 percent to CNY717.6 billion (USD106.5 billion).
