(Yicai Global) April 19 -- Shenzhen-based Tencent Holdings, the world's largest gaming firm, has obtained exclusive rights to distribute the Nintendo Switch gaming console, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism said online. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is expected to be the first game officially available.

Shares in the Japanese console maker [TYO:7974] were up more than 14.7 percent at JPY39,420 (USD352) apiece as of 10.01 a.m. Japan Standard Time this morning.
