(Yicai Global) Nov. 8 -- The first batch of Model 3s manufactured at Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory officially came off the production line today.

The electric car is identical to its imported version in outward appearance and interior design.

The Palo Alto, California-based electric vehicle maker announced the Model 3 produced in China was pre-selling for CNY355,800 (USD51,000) on Oct. 25.
