(Yicai Global) May 15 -- The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the preliminary results of its antidumping investigation of forged steel fittings from China yesterday and imposed a dumping margin of 7.42 percent on Both-Well (Taizhou) Steel Fittings Co. and others, its website shows.

It will also slap a 142.72-percent dumping margin on Jiangsu Haida Pipe Fittings Group Co. and other Chinese firms, the DOC said.

China exported USD78.40 million in such products to the US In 2016, per US government statistics.

Antidumping duties are usually assessed as being equal to the difference between the importing country's shipping price of the goods and the market value of like goods in the exporting country.
