(Yicai Global) Nov. 4 -- Shares in ArcherMind Technology Nanjing soared by the 10 percent daily limit again today, even though the software service provider denied directly participating in the development of Huawei's Harmony operating system.

Its shares [SHE:300598] closed the day out at CNY87.74 (USD12.49).

The company has not directly taken part in the construction, research or development of Harmony OS and has not provided an operating system for any Huawei-related products, it said in a statement.

ArcherMind stock shot up by the 10 percent limit on Nov. 1 after rumors surfaced suggesting the company would help build Harmony, the operating system Huawei is having to develop after a US trade ban disrupted ties between Google and the Chinese phonemaker. Huawei handsets run Google's Android operating system.
