(Yicai Global) July 23 -- China built 257,000 fifth-generation wireless communications network base stations in the first half, bringing the total number to 410,000, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China announced at a press conference today.

China produced more than 100 billion integrated circuits in the period in a yearly 16.4 percent rise, per the ministry.
