(Yicai Global) Sept. 23 -- China's BYD has received Finland's largest pure electric bus order while entering the Northern European country for the first time.

Stockholm-based public transport operator Nobina has ordered 106 buses from the Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer to be delivered next summer, Securities Times reported today, citing the Shenzhen-headquartered company. 

More than half of the low-emission vehicles will be used in Helsinki and the remainder in Turku, a coastal city in southwestern Finland.
