China's Major Stock Market Indices Take a Dive at Closing China's Major Stock Market Indices Take a Dive at Closing

(Yicai Global) Sept. 25 -- China's stock markets extended their losses in late trading today. Three benchmark indices took a dive when the rising bank stocks failed to lift them up.

The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.33 percent to 3,341.55 points at the close, with CNY202.4 billion (USD30.5 billion) exchanged.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 10,930.67 points, down 1.26 percent, turning over CNY266.1 billion. It fell below the 20-day moving average.

The Growth Enterprise Index fell to 1,843.62 points, down 1.22 percent, with turnover of CNY78.7 billion. It fell below the 30-day moving average.

Only 10 segments of stocks slightly rose at closing, while the real estate stocks dipped 3.22 percent.
