China's Stock Markets Open Mixed

(Yicai Global) Sept. 27 -- China's mainland stock markets opened up and down today as market sentiments appeared divided regarding risk-taking before the upcoming holidays.  

The Shanghai Composite Index started at 2,929.49, up 0.01 percent. The Shenzhen Component climbed 0.06 percent to 9,470.54. The ChiNext Price Index rose 0.27 percent to 1,628.14.

Chinese bourses will keep their doors closed from Oct. 1 to Oct. 8 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic.
