(Yicai Global) July 16 -- China's renowned manufacturing sector expanded 6 percent to nearly CNY13.3 trillion (USD1.9 billion) in the first half, slightly below national average growth, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics today.

The agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery sectors grew 3.2 percent on average to CNY2.44 trillion,the NBS data also shows. 

China's gross domestic product grew 6.3 percent to CNY45.1 trillion (USD6.6 trillion) in the first half, the NBS said yesterday.
