(Yicai Global) March 9 -- The total amount of funds received by the Red Cross Society of China and other charitable organizations was about CNY30 billion (USD4.32 billion) as of midnight, and accumulated disbursements of these donations added up to about CNY24 billion, China's Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs Zhan Chengfu said today.

Materials gifted to the Chinese Red Cross and other charitable organizations stacked up to 522 million units, and 466 million have already been handed out to the needy, he added.
