(Yicai Global) July 8 -- China's mainland stock markets open mixed today, with the three benchmark indexes fluctuating in a close range around yesterday's closing figures.

The Shanghai Composite Index kicked off 0.23 percent lower at 3,337.55. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 13,170.20, up 0.05 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, set out up 0.48 percent at 2,603.65.

After a one-day fallback, securities brokers' shares continue to lead gainers with an average increase of over 3 percent.
