(Yicai Global) Sep.15 -- Stock markets on China's mainland continued to fluctuate after opening mixed today while the Shanghai bourse slipped a bit.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.05 percent lower at 3,277.13, while the Nasdaq-like Star Market Board 50 Index, or Star 50, was up 0.05 percent at 1,348.79.

The Shenzhen Component Index started the day at 13,032.29, 0.08 percent higher. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, grew 0.24 percent to 2,578.69.
