(Yicai) Oct. 22 -- Chinese companies have brought to the Canton Fair their latest electronic products, such as microphones, headphones, gaming desks, and lighting systems, to showcase their new technologies to foreign livestreaming and esports clients attending the event.

Zhaoqing Hejia Electronics displayed dozens of Fifine-branded microphones. The market is expanding at an annual growth of around 50 percent, thanks to new trends, such as livestreaming and esports, a staffer told Yicai.

Global sales of toys and video games are expected to jump 14 percent to USD317 billion in 2029 from last year, according to a recent report by market research firm Euromonitor International. Video games will be the main growth driver, as sales of related software and hardware will likely soar 18 percent and 25 percent, respectively.

Zhaoqing Hejia Electronics's success is also because the company focuses on building its own brand and ensuring product quality and after-sales services, the staffer added.

More and more consumers are opting for mid-range devices, said Loo Wee Teck, global insight manager at Euromonitor International. Chinese brands are reshaping the market through localization, cost-effectiveness, and innovative design, he explained.

"Our gaming headsets have become the number one brand in Brazil," Huang Yao, brand director of Guangzhou Havit Technology, told Yicai when asked about regional markets.

"According to local official reports, we have achieved an overall market share of about 15 percent in both online and offline sales of gaming headsets in Brazil, ranking first in the industry after surpassing international giants such as JBL, Sony, and Razer," Huang said.

Havit started with audio product manufacturing and gradually transitioned to independent research and development in recent years, Lu Yuting, regional sales manager of the company, told Yicai.

For example, considering that professional gamers may play seven to 10 hours a day, Havit developed an open-back headset with a hollow structure that can effectively alleviate issues such as ear warmth and moisture arising from the prolonged use of headphones, Lu explained.

Zhongyuan Innovation Technology has transformed from producing television accessories five years ago to providing customized lighting solutions for the esports industry now, with an annual business growth rate of about 20 percent, Chen Zhiquan, the firm's market development manager, told Yicai, adding that it is performing well in Europe and North America.
