(Yicai Global) Dec. 16 -- China's value-added industrial output, a key economic indicator, expanded 6.2 percent in November from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said today.
That was a 1.5 percentage point gain on October's 4.7 percent, but the NBS did not explain the reasons behind the increase.
For the January to November period, industrial output -- which is officially termed industrial value added -- rose 5.6 percent from a year earlier.
Industrial value added is used to measure the activity of designated large companies that have annual operating income of at least CNY20 million (USD2.86 million).
