Delta Flight Aborts Takeoff in Shanghai as Japan Airlines Plane Strays Onto Runway(Yicai Global) Nov. 14 -- Flight DL582 of Atlanta, US-based Delta Airlines flying from Shanghai's Pudong Airport had to abort its takeoff today.
No injuries were reported in the noontime incident.
The A350-900 plane bound for Detroit, the US was forced to an emergency stop while taxiing for takeoff when a jetliner of Tokyo-headquartered Japan Airlines strayed onto the runway, China's Civil Aviation Administration's eastern regional branch explained on its website.
The CAAC is still investigating the matter.
